Research Biography
 

M. David Miller has directed a state K-12 assessment program (Kansas) and was the lead data analyst for the Second International Mathematics Study before becoming a faculty member in Research Methods and Evaluation at the University of Florida.  His primary areas of research are in assessment, psychometrics and evaluation. He is currently the director of the Collaborative Assessment and Program Evaluation Services (CAPES) at the University of Florida.  CAPES was established to provide evaluation and research support for the educational components of grants throughout campus.

Grants

M. David Miller has been the PI or co-PI on more than $2.25 million in grants in education.  He currently directs CAPES which has a primary mission of supporting PIs at the University of Florida in obtaining and implementing grants.  CAPES work with faculty throughout the University of Florida on evaluating the social science components of their grants.
