Research Biography

I am an associate professor in the Educational Psychology department who teaches courses in the qualitative foundations of educational research, in qualitative data collection, and in qualitative analysis. My research interests and areas of publication include qualitative research methodology, labels, and legitimacy in qualitative research, and the integration of theory and practice within qualitative inquiry. Currently, my empirical projects focus on the studies of ADHD treatment and help-seeking and mentoring.
