Student Reading Council is a student service organization at the University
of Florida's College of Education.
Our Mission is: To promote high levels of literacy in the Gainesville community by creating alliances and networking with other organizations through community wide events. To organize professional development opportunities for preservice teachers that will deepen the understanding of the reading process, improve future reading instruction, and strengthen the commitment to literacy through advocacy in the communtiy.
