Social Studies Education

The Social Studies Education program has four different options for advanced degrees. Students interested in becoming certified middle and/or high school Social Studies teachers should apply to the M. Ed. ProTeach program. The MAE, Ed.S., and Ph.D./Ed.D. programs are designed for students who are already experienced, certified Social Studies teachers or have other relevant experiences in Social Studies Education.
