Interested students are welcome to contact faculty members in the School of Teaching & Learning who work in Curriculum, Teaching, & Teacher Education.
- Dr. Elizabeth Bondy studies elementary education and elementary teacher education. She is particularly interested in university/school partnerships, teaching in low-income schools, and preparing teachers to work with a diverse student population.
- Dr. Paul George is interested in secondary education, especially middle schools, and in aspects of school organization, curriculum, and teaching at all levels.
- Dr. Rose Pringle studies science education for preservice and inservice teachers. She is particularly interested in teaching and learning science, curriculum integration, and the role of assessment in science learning.
- Dr. Dorene Ross studies elementary teacher education for preservice and inservice teachers. Her particular interests are curriculum, instructional strategies, teaching in low-income schools, assessment-driven instruction, and inclusive education.
- Dr. Diane Yendol-Hoppey students teacher professional development as well as the role professional development plays in school improvement and student learning. Her particular interests include professional development schools and preparing teachers to work with diverse and inclusive student populations.
