Software installation

You will need almost twelve megabytes (12 MB) of free hard disk space under Windows and fourteen megabytes in the Macintosh environment to install the Enhanced Science Helper software. The installation program creates a folder titled "Learning Team" and installs the necessary software into a folder inside it entitled "Enhanced Science Helper".

Insert the installation CD and open the Install folder and open the appropriate folder (Macintosh or Windows). On the Macintosh, double-click the Install_ESH icon. In Windows, click on Setup.exe to install the software.

The Enhanced Science Helper application program has been placed in the Learning Team folder on your hard disc. Please note that you will still need to insert the CD when you use the Enhanced Science Helper, since the CD contains the 1370 lessons and video clips accessible through the search engine.
