ECC General Board Meeting Minutes

Present: Sarah, Adriane, Dannielle, Amy Kimball (In place of Dr. Vernetson), SRC, FEA

Absent: Stephanie, Teala, SCEC, MESG, USECA

1^st Business: Officer Reports

- President-ECC Edugator shirts are in the file cabinet on wheels;

We can only sell thing when the ECC office is open; Thanked the orgs for being at the budget meeting; Teala and Sarah went to Michaels to get things for the scrapbooks

2^nd Business: Org Reports

FEA:

FEA is having their first workshop Thursday, February 22, 2007 @ 7:30 in the Terrace Room.  It will be a marker board/chalkboard workshop.  The first 20 people will get supplies to create their own.

FEA will be attending the SFEA state conference in Orlando, March 2-4, 2007.  Anybody interested please contact us @ uflfea@yahoo.com.  It's $55.  That includes 2 nights stay in a hotel, 4 meals, a t-shirt, and conference supplies.

FEA is also hosting a Read Across America event.  We'll be canning/tabling on the Reitz colonade. Dates TBA. The actual event will be held Thursday, March 1, 2007.

SRC Meeting on Wednesday, Feb. 7th at 6:30pm in the Terrace Room. Come learn about an amazing tool to help your students learn to read! The first 10 people receive FREE Reader's toolkit!!

SHIRTS FOR SALE! SRC's shirts are in! They are light blue with white print. The front is our logo and the back reads "If you can read this, thank and teacher!" Shirts are only $12. Available in the ECC Office!

BOOK FAIR IS COMING! April 18th and 19th from 8am to 8pm in the Terrace Room! If you are interested in helping please e-mail ufsrc@yahoo.com.

USECA:

Selling polo shirts-the preorder is extended to February 16, 2007;
