Simulations have been used as a tool for teaching in many areas and disciplines. The idea behind using simulations as pedagogical tools relies on the idea that experience is the best teacher.
- We will watch the video "Sloppy Sally" produced by PASS (Powerful and Authentic Social Studies) as an example of an early childhood simulation. In the "Sloppy Sally" video, Kindergarten children are engaged in a neighborhood association meeting. The presence of both discussion and deliberation exist in the activity.
