Welcome to Mr. Jones'

"P. K. Yonge Physics" Homepage

Have you ever wondered why the sky is blue, or why sunsets are red? Or maybe wondered how huge airplanes can fly, and massive ships can float? Or what keeps satellites from falling to earth, or even what makes a curve ball curve? Or which falls faster, large or small rain drops? All these questions can be answered with Physics!

The laws of physics are the laws that nature lives by. If you're going to understand the world around you, you need to know physics.

Physics doesn't have to be a killer course filled with math formulas and memorization. I believe that it is better to first understand the concepts before you do the computations.

Here at P.K. Yonge, before we tackle the tough math, we explore and discover the concepts and the fun of physics.
