FIND OUT MORE ABOUT BLOOM'S TAXONOMY

http://faculty.washington.edu/krumme/guides/bloom.html
Recall, Comprehension, ... what does this all mean? It's called Bloom's Taxonomy and is an important concept you'll want to know more about. Did you know that a whole committee developed the taxonomy, but Bloom was listed first (alphabetically) and thus Bloom et al.'s taxonomy came to be known simply as Bloom's taxonomy? Learn all you care to know (and then some) about this important educational concept.

Bloom's Taxonomy divides the way people learn into three domains. One of these is the cognitive domain which emphasizes intellectual outcomes. This domain is further divided into categories or levels. The key words used and the type of questions asked may aid in the establishment and encouragement of critical thinking, especially in the higher levels.
