Prepare for the Fair - Roundtable Discussion

Learn about students' experiences at clinical sites, what to consider when selecting a site, and find out about local sites at this roundtable discussion held for counselor education students. Students in practicum and internships are invited to come share their experiences. Students considering a clinical in the future can come and learn from their peers.
If you plan to attend the roundtable discussion, please email Adrienne Baggs at ceclinical@coe.ufl.edu. Identify whether you have no prior clinical experience or if you are enrolled or have completed a prac or internship. Also provide your program and degree.
Fall 2009 Practicum and Internship Fair

The Department of Counselor Education is pleased to host the semi-annual Practicum and Internship Fair. The fair is a wonderful opportunity for students, faculty, and counseling professionals to meet and network. Refreshments will be provided for students and site hosts during the fair.
The fair will be held Friday from 1:00 to 3:00pm in the Norman Hall Terrace Room.
Site host check in and set up ~ 12:30pm to 1:00pm
Practicum and Internship Fair ~ 1:00pm to 3:00pm
Site hosts are asked to please RSVP to ceclinical@coe.ufl.edu no later than Tuesday, September 8, 2009. Please note in your RSVP if you need a parking pass. Provide your mailing address and license plate number, and we will mail you your parking pass ahead of time. You are welcome to bring materials and information about your agency to share with participants. Depending on space available, agencies will have a table. Outlets are available as needed. If you have not updated your Site Information Form within the last six months, please fax me a new or updated Site Information Form to 352-846-2697.
