Tutoring Sites

America Reads tutors are recruited at the beginning of each UF semester.  Schools or centers interested in placing tutors should contact the America Reads office at least one month prior to the beginning of each UF semester. 

To date, approximately 1000 children have received tutorial services from over 200 America Reads tutors and volunteers.  America Reads currently offers tutoring to children in grades kindergarten through high school who are enrolled in the schools or at sites listed below.

  • McPherson Community Center

  • Westwood Middle School
