The And/Or option determines whether the items listed in the Resources List fits all of the criteria within a Search Criteria Type (the And option), or at least one of them (the Or option). For example, Cultural Effects AND Energy means that the resources listed fit both criteria. Problem Solving OR Problem Solving-Applying means that the resources listed fit at least one of the criteria, but not necessarily both.

Note: AND is always used between different Search Criteria Categories. You cannot do an OR search on different Search Criteria Categories. For example, you cannot search for a Process Theme OR a Subject at the same time.
To change the And/Or option, either select the desired Search Criteria Category in the Criteria List or click on the item in the Selected Criteria List and click the desired And/Or option button.
Note: Some Search Criteria Categories are OR only and this option will disabled for them. For example, a resource cannot come from two different projects (it is impossible).
