You can save a search scheme for a given resource in two ways: permanently (saved on a disk) or temporarily (will be lost when you turn the computer off). You can load previously saved search schemes or save your searches by accessing Search in the menu bar at the top of the screen.

To permanently save a search, go to the Search menu and select Save Settings. Follow the usual procedure for saving a file. To load a previously saved search, select Load Settings in the Search menu. Follow the usual procedure for loading a file.

To temporarily save a search, select Save Settings Temp in the Search menu. You can save up to five search settings. To restore a temporarily saved search, select one of Restore Settings Temp commands in the Search menu.
