Click the Open button in the upper left of the Abstract & Links Info window to view the Resource Window. In this window, you can use the next and previous page buttons to view other images or pages in the resource. The Resource Window shows the total images or pages in this resource and the image or page currently in the window. You can type a page number in the current page box to go to that page. Use the scroll bars on the right side and bottom to view portions of the image not visible in the window. You also can expand the window to fit your screen by clicking the button in the upper right-hand corner of the window. Note: The Resource Window has a different appearance for audiovisual resources (see The Link Window).

Most images in the Resource Window can be magnified or reduced using the Reduce/Magnify controls located in the bottom left corner of the window. Clicking the control with the + sign increases image size and clicking the one with the &endash; sign decreases the size. Sizes can be adjusted from 25 percent to 400 percent of the original image with the current size displayed to the right of the reduce/magnify controls.

A portion of most images can be selected and copied for pasting into the scrapbook or other applications. When this is possible, you will see a cross hair cursor in the Resource Window. Simply drag the cursor to draw a rectangle around the desired portion of the image, then choose the Copy command from the Edit menu. Use the Paste command in the Edit menu of the Scrapbook or application to Paste the selected image there.
